The primary drug and substance abuse rehabilitation provider operating in the Brandon city area is called the Drug Abuse Coordinating Office Brandon Outpatient Services Center, which is also commonly referred to as DACCO. It is located at 1463 Oakfield Drive, Suite 113. This facility acts as a provider of both mental health and substance abuse services for people living in and around the area. In addition to traditional outpatient drug rehabilitation and holistic residential treatment, the center also offers both intensive outpatient treatment and certain other techniques like biophysical rehabilitation that are not related to any traditional 12-Step recovery program.
Additional to drug rehab treatment for both prescription medication addictions and “street drug” addiction to substances like OxyContin, methamphetamine, and heroin, the center also acts as a dual diagnosis drug rehab provider for people with co-occurring disorders. Cognitive behavioral therapy, individualized counseling, smart recovery, and relapse prevention therapy are just a few examples of the many special programs that are offered.
The professionals at DACCO also make services available specifically for teens and adolescents by way of a series of juvenile based programs. Addiction treatment for Spanish-speaking individuals along with faith-based treatment designed specifically with Christians in mind is also available.
Payment Options
Patients who come to DACCO have a wide range of different options available to them regarding how they choose to remit payment. In addition to standard cash, credit card and other self payment options, this is also a facility that accepts both Medicaid and Medicare. Private insurance from Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Oxford Health Plans, Health Alliance and more are also readily accepted. Though the facility does not currently offer an income-based sliding fee scale, it does offer a few different forms of payment assistance for those going through a financial hardship. Specifically, an “Access to Recovery” voucher may be obtained for qualified individuals.
